I'm setting up this blog as a place for family and friends to share stuff. News, casual thoughts, ponderous thoughts, humor, photos, interesting web sites, etc. I expect the tone will be mostly light, but serious is okay too. (In this growingly heated political season, I intend to avoid politics - not because I think politics unimportant - I love the political blogs - but because if I included politics, it would quickly 'take over' this blog, which I don't want to happen.) Ideally, everyone sets up their own blog, and this blog helps to be a clearing house of posts by other blogs. Setting up this blog took, literally, only a few minutes. And it's free.
